Yoga is an ancient discipline that first originated in India sometime between 3300 and 1700 B.C.E.
Yoga joins the physical, emotional and spiritual parts of ourselves through poses (asanas), meditation and breathing. At it's deepest level, it's a spiritual path to enlightenment.
In modern times, practitioners have turned to yoga to heal from illness, keep their bodies healthy and fit, and to find deep relaxation and a sense of peace.
There are tremendous measurable benefits to the practice of yoga for the bodies, minds and spirits. Building strength and flexibility is only a small part of what yoga can do for us.
If you want to see positive and lasting benefits that affect all areas of your life, yoga is the right modality for you!
